Submission Guidelines

International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Advanced Research (IJPBAR) invites original high-quality manuscripts that advance pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, medical sciences and allied health fields. The authors are requested to read carefully the guidelines for the submission to ensure a smooth review process and accommodation for publication.

Any manuscript that is sent to the journal must be original, not published in another journal or book and not under consideration for publication in another journal or book. All submissions should include scientifically valid research and should be supported by appropriate academic honesty and ethical standards for scholarly publishing.

Manuscript Categories

IJPBAR considers the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles – Reports of novel research findings and scientific investigations.
  • Review Articles – Comprehensive reviews of current knowledge and recent developments in a specific field.
  • Short Communications – Brief reports presenting significant preliminary findings or innovative concepts.
  • Case Reports – Detailed reports of unique clinical, pharmaceutical, or biomedical cases.
  • Technical Notes – Articles describing new methodologies, techniques, instruments, or technological advancements.

General Submission Requirements

When authors submit a manuscript they should make sure that:

  • The manuscript is written in clear and concise English.
  • The work is original and free from plagiarism.
  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.
  • The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under review by another journal.
  • Ethical approvals and informed consent statements are included where applicable.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest are clearly disclosed.

Manuscript Structure

Authors are encouraged to structure their manuscript in the following sections, if applicable:

  • Full title of the manuscript

Formatting Guidelines

Authors are advised to use the following formatting suggestions:

  • Use a standard, readable font such as Times New Roman.
  • Maintain consistent heading and subheading styles throughout the manuscript.
  • Number all pages consecutively.
  • Use standard scientific terminology and SI units where applicable.
  • Ensure proper grammar, spelling, and language quality before submission.

Tables and Figures

The authors are responsible for making sure that:

  • All tables and figures are clearly numbered in sequential order.
  • Each table and figure includes an appropriate title or caption.
  • Tables and figures are cited within the manuscript text.
  • Images, graphs, and illustrations are of high quality and suitable for publication.
  • Any copyrighted material is used only with proper permission and acknowledgment.

Reference Style

Authors may use APA, Vancouver, or the journal's preferred citation style as specified during submission. References should be accurate, complete, and consistently formatted.

The authors are encouraged to:

  • Cite relevant and recent literature.
  • Verify all references before submission.
  • Ensure that every in-text citation appears in the reference list.

Editorial and Peer Review Process

All papers submitted are assessed by the editor and then sent out for double-blinded review to experts in the field. The papers are assessed for originality, scientific content, methodology, and relevance, as well as the contribution to the existing knowledge.

The editorial staff may ask for changes, supplementary data or corrections of the style of a manuscript prior to acceptance for publication.
